David is owner and retail advisor for a protein distribution business servicing south central US.  His partnership with Cargill Food Distributors provides a wide range of products at competitive prices.  His 47 years in the business supports the services designed to maximize client sales and margins.

For the past 22 years David had challenging roles at Cargill Meat Solutions.  He led the Dallas Sales team and then joined the Cargill & Hormel Joint Venture, Precept Foods, as National Sales Director. Four years later he moved to Bentonville, AR as Beef Sales Manager servicing Walmart.  Now back in Texas he has served as Sales Director for the South-Central region partnering with regional grocery chains and independent operators.

Prior to Cargill, David was Director of Meat Operations at Affiliated Foods in Little Rock Arkansas for 6 years.  His time there was critically important to understand the industry’s complex supply chain.

David’s retail experience began in 1973 with 21 years at Market Basket Food Stores in Texas and Louisiana.  Managing, training, and working closely with 30+ meat managers was challenging yet rewarding.
